The founder of Totteland, Frederik Tychosen, began his journey with his business in 2019. By the time Frederik reached out to MXNEY, he had turned over DKK 1m and was on the brink of taking the next important steps with his business. Totteland proved its relevance among dog lovers quite fast, and Frederik knew that his next steps were to build better products than the market had even seen before. Thus, Frederik set out to build products in partnership with MXNEY to get the financial muscle-power that was needed in order to increase quantity and lower production prices.

In order to stay competitive and cover the pet-owners' 360-degree demands, Frederik's opportunity didn't come without a challenge; a wide-ranging selection of needs also meant that Totteland would have to design and produce a lot of different products. Good quality production partners who would be able to offer the right price points, would also require fairly high Minimum Order Quantities. With as many SKU's as Totteland, they knew it would add up to high amounts of up-front payments.
